Kickstarter is always a fun place to traverse to see what could be on the horizon. Sometimes it can be frustrating to see what games didn’t get funded, but luckily for us, these three Kickstarter games succeeded!
All three of these have amazing cozy potential and I’m excited to try them out.

Take to the skies in the Kickstarter game Sally
Sally is Kickstarter game that brings a unique take on cozy gaming by taking place on a flying ship. Everyone aboard are kids aside from two grandmothers. Your goal is to repair the ship and find someplace to call home. On your way to achieving that goal, you’ll build friendships, cook, farm, craft, and build!
The crewmates are built on a rich system, so each play-through is unique and every choice you make affects your relationships.
If the idea of being contained in one area seems too constrained, then be assured that there’s a lot to discover on the floating islands! The environment changes as you fly and the islands bring their own charm to the gameplay. You’ll find different ecosystems, animals, resources, inhabitants, and seasons!
There’s no time limit and the freedom of customization makes this the perfect game to get lost in. And if you thought this game would be perfect for Switch, then you’re in luck! This Kickstarter managed to hit enough stretch goals to port it over to Switch!
Currently, there is no hard release date, but I know it’ll be on my list of games to grab when it does! You can wishlist it over on Steam now!
Mail Time gives new meaning to the phrase “Snail Mail”
If you’ve seen the movie Arietty and want to experience something similar, then Mail Time is one to look out for! It’s an adorable cottagecore game where you play as a tiny mail scout bringing letters and packages to a whole host of characters.
With 8 unique locations, no time limit, and no fall damage, you’re free to explore to your heart’s content. You can climb high in the sky and sail down with your trusty glider simply because you want to.
There are quite a few options for customizing your mail scout and several stretch goals were met to bring even more glider skins than the game originally boasted. The most exciting stretch goal, however, was funding enough to be able to port the game over to Switch!
It wasn’t a stretch goal, but the game seems to be coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 as well!
You can buy the game now over on Steam right now for $19.99!
Camper Van: Make It Home lets you live your vagabond fantasy
If you’ve ever looked at a van and imagined gutting it to make your next home, then this game is going to help you scratch that itch!
With several places to explore, so too do you have several van options to decorate along the way! You can even decorate around your van! Thankfully, you’re not going it alone, you’ll have one of three pet options to keep you company whether it be a dog, cat, or iguana.
The game boasts inspiration from the game Unpacking and you can absolutely see that influence with what they call “block organizational puzzle games”. So, if you enjoyed the dynamic of that game, this one will make you happy.
The stretch goals in this game allow you to change the color of your van, have the aforementioned pet, and add some greenery to the item options. But, most excitingly, the best stretch goal is the one where they’re able to port to Switch!
There’s no official release date as of this moment, but it certainly seems like it’ll be worth the wait!
