If it isn’t obvious, we’re big fans of GUNNAR gaming glasses here at Comfy Cozy Gaming (#notspon, I swear). After owning GUNNAR glasses for years, it’s always nice to see what collaborations they get to do. Well, Tunnel Snakes, GUNNAR has teamed up with Amazon and Fallout for a new and unique frame for the upcoming show, called the GUNNAR Fallout Vault 33 gaming glasses.
As with all GUNNAR glasses, you’re getting some well-made frames with the Fallout Vault 33. These are actually unique with a more 1950s-inspired, coke-bottle style. You know, like something right out of the show and games. The temples of the glasses are thin metal, and the entire style is in a nice gunmetal gray and olive. You will find the Vault-Tec Industries logo on each side of the flexible spring hinges (one of my favorite features on some of GUNNAR’s other products).
Aside from the actual glasses, the goodies that come with it are superb too. The included microfiber cloth is what I like to call “Fallout Blue” and has the Vault-Tec logo on it. The microfiber pouch has everyone’s favorite thumbs-up giver, Vault Boy. But, the hard case? Chef’s kiss. It’s Vault-Tec-themed, complete with the same blue, and looks right out of the games (and/or Amazon show). I adore this style of case from GUNNAR, too, versus some of their more simplistic offerings.
The Fallout Vault 33 glasses may not protect you from radiation, but they are stylish.
You’ll find the GUNNAR Vault 33 glasses in three options: the gaming lens 65 Amber, the clearer on-the-go style Clear 35, or the 95 Sunglasses. While not part of the announcement, it’s assumed that they will also have prescription options available as well on GUNNAR’s website.
Pre-orders start right now, but they won’t be available until April 3rd, 2024. All three options in the announcement are $99. you can pre-order them on Amazon. If you do, fair warning: you’ll not only look cool but you’ll also be supporting us by using our link.

Last month, I reviewed the GUNNAR tokidoki Year of the Dragon gaming glasses and absolutely loved them. You should check out my review because the temples of the Fallout Vault 33 glasses seem to look pretty similar, even if the frames are vastly different. And, keep an eye out because I plan to hopefully review these as well because they sure look S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
