We were busy in March and got to try a lot of new cozy games and even some new hardware. So, in case you missed anything, we’ve put a hand little list together like we do every month.
Some of my notable favorite cozy games were expected (Garden Life) and unexpected (Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons).
If you want, you can leave us a comment and let us know what cozy games you’re playing right now!
Cozy Games Reviews
I highly recommend this visually stunning game. It’s got so much to love and very little to dislike – I’m looking at you, early game inventory system that I managed to overload immediately. From the sounds to the tasks, Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator was so relaxing and fun.
Berserk Boy harkens back to a retro era of fast-paced, difficult platformers with beautiful pixel art and awesome music. If you love those kinds of games, this is a day-one must-buy.
If you love quest-based games, then I definitely recommend giving Potions: A Curious Tale a chance. It’s a very chill experience that a lot of cozy gamers would respond well to.
While Turlock Holmes isn’t necessarily a bad game, it has highly repetitive gameplay that feels more suited to mobile games than anything else. It lacks depth.
If you’re a fan of nonogram puzzles, then you’re going to love Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons. No Harvest Moon knowledge is required. Likewise, you’ll hate this if you don’t like this puzzle style.
Behind the Frame: The Finest Scenery is a very small game, barely over an hour. While the colors are rich and the gameplay charming, it’s not worth the price point unless you get it free in a subscription, like we did.
Other Reviews
The GUNNAR Diablo IV, Sanctuary Edition glasses are heavy on the nose, but look really nice and professional. They’re well-made and don’t feel like they will fall apart, but feel like you might snap them in half if you have a big head due to the hinge.
Cozy Game Previews
Preserve is a more strategic and analytical style of play. Personally, I enjoyed the puzzle mode the best, but once I understood more about the dynamics of how cards work together, the rest fell in line.
Dream of Star Haven is a first-person exploration platformer that features light combat and death-defying jumps.
Chill Town is beautiful, and minor issues aside, it felt like a solid game. Once you get into the swing of things, it has so much potential for cozy fun.
Time to Morp is a vibrantly colored joy to look at and, while it’s a bit daunting at first, it was a lot of fun to play.
I think that Omega Crafter is a great building sim game. I think you’ll likely have more fun playing with friends, but this isn’t lacking if you play it solo.

Mojito Cat: We tried out Mojito the Cat for the Nintendo Switch. As much as we’d love to say that this mobile-like game should be incredibly cozy, it was surprisingly frustrating.
The visuals are cute, including all of the various skins you have access to. The concept of the game is also really interesting and could have been a great challenge.
However, Mojito the Cat runs into a problem in the fact that it uses an isometric angle in its gameplay. The fact that you’re meant to use the directional pad to control means that we were constantly bound to flipping the wrong direction, wasting flips, and failing the challenges.
After dozens of attempts, we just couldn’t master the controls. So, we decided to not do a full review. If someone can get the controls down, it’s a really unique game and we would recommend giving it a shot. We just couldn’t.
