The incredibly popular game, House Flipper, has a bunch of DLCs available to expand your game. And they’ve just added a new one to mix! On November 26, 2024, you’ll be able to snag the latest Dine Out DLC.
If you’re unfamiliar with the House Flipper franchise, it’s a game that lets you renovate dilapidated properties. Sometimes, you’re accepting quest-based jobs for a percentage fee and others, you’re buying up property to flip for more than it was purchased for.
In the past, we’ve seen DLC installments for gardens, “luxury”, pets, HGTV, and farms. Now, we’re heading onto the diner scene! Not only will you be able to design different types of diners, but you’ll be able to lease them, too!
I’ve played House Flipper, but none of the DLCs, so I’m not sure if this is the first time you’ve been able to make passive income like this with renting, but it certainly brings a new element of interest into the game.
In Dine Out DLC, you’ll have more quest-based tasks to flip dining establishments from a wide range of categories like sushi bars, cafes, or even food trucks.
It appears that we’ll be treated to more furniture and decoration items as well as designing signs and preparing food.
When it comes to arranging items, there are some new features implemented in Dine Out DLC that will make not just this installment more easily managed, but potentially your entire game as well!
You’ll be able to use new tools to aid in more precise and symmetrical arrangements. While I enjoy good symmetry, I’m most excited about gaining the ability to queue up items that I want to place.
No more hunting around for one item at a time, do all your searching upfront and then pop them down one by one!
Leasing premises isn’t just down to restaurants. It appears that you’ll be able to lease pretty much anything in prior builds from homes to offices. The rent value will directly correlate to factors of furnishing, number of rooms, and property type.
As for signs, everyone knows that the first line of advertising is the proper signage. From the way I’m reading the press release, it looks like you’re going to be able to craft any type of sign you want.
You’ll have freedom over colors, texts, shapes, and illustrations for each signboard including neon signs.
And lastly, but most interesting, let’s talk about preparing food. This addition brings House Flipper into more than just renovation. You’ll gain access to an item called, the “universal cooker” and with it, you’ll be able to create various dishes.
The caveat is that you need the ingredients. So, managing your inventory will be part of it. What I love is the attention to detail. If you have the Farm DLC, you can get reduced prices on your produce from there if it’s in your storehouses.
Additionally, the cuisine options are spread from many different cultures such as: Korean, Polish, Indian, Italian, Thai, and many more!
Dine Out DLC will bring you 10 new quests, 10 homes to renovate, and over 1350 new items to play with!
House Flipper is always a solid choice for a relaxing time, but with this latest DLC, it’s even better.
If you want to play the Dine Out DLC, you will need the base game of House Flipper. If you already have it, you can snag the DLC for $14.99 on PC. Unfortunately, the price is heftier at $19.99 for PlayStation and Xbox One players.
