There are too many cozy games coming in 2025 to be contained in one article. You may have seen our list of 13 cozy games we’re excited for and, if not, you should check it out. But, in the meantime, here are 11 more cozy games that just didn’t fit on the first list.
They’re in no particular order and there’s no difference in hype from one list to the next. We’re stoked about all of these titles and our palms are in a permanent grabby-hand position as we wait patiently for their release.
Give us the precious… Feel free to sound off in the comments with which titles you’re most excited about or clue us into ones we might have missed!
I’ve been following the news on this game since it was on Kickstarter. Visually, the game is stunning, but it’s the Yokai powers that you can play with that really caught my attention. You can farm, build, cook, explore, decorate, and fall in love. There might just be some mysteries to uncover about your homeland as well! I’m pretty excited for this one.
This one has an adorable hand-drawn aesthetic. You basically play the game as/from an airship that you sail around a map world to explore new cities you can trade with. Along the way, you can fish, mine, and farm as well as change the way your ship looks. Oh, and you can do it all with an NPC companion!
I’m a huge fan of clean-up-type games, so I’m pretty stoked about this one. Your mission is to clean up the havoc wrecked by creatures called “Ragamuffins” to cover up their existence. You’ll be able to upgrade your equipment and decorate your own space along the way! Plus, you get to keep the Ragamuffins for your own and play with a friend!
If you’ve ever wanted to help people find love, then this adorable little 2D life sim is a must-have. You have the chance to bring together couples of your choosing and in doing so, you’ll be able to expand your little island using the love, joy, and passion those matches made! If you want a break from matchmaking, you can farm, fish, and cook during the day or spend your nights dancing, singing, or playing soccer.
In this pixel-style game, you’re rejuvenating a supermarket that has seen better times. You’ll manage the stock, befriend characters, and make trade deals in an effort to better your shop. Be careful though, if you grow too fast, you may upset local competition. It’s up to you; you can make friends or enemies depending on how you run your shop.
This is another game that gives me Ghibli vibes. This gorgeous life sim lets you farm, fish, cook, raise animals, make friends, and fall in love. The world has over 40 NPCs to talk to and a DIY system that lets you build out the home of your dreams. I’m really excited to get my hands on this one, it looks so fun and relaxing.
Fantasy Life: The Girl Who Steals Time
As someone who played the original Fantasy Life, I’m over the moon excited for this next title. Not only will you be able to take your pick from multiple career options, but you’ll be doing a little time traveling as well! Go back in time to gather materials and come back to the future to use them in crafting recipes! You’ll get to pick several different professions and you’re not beholden to any of them. Be a master carpenter, or dabble in everything. It’s your fantasy life, play it your way. And, you don’t have to do it alone, invite up to 3 of your friends to play with you.
This game puts a twist on the cozy environment by introducing a main character who is reluctant to live a simpler life. You’ll play through the struggles in a gorgeous setting with cozy tasks. You’ll run an interesting tea shop where you grow and harvest ingredients. If you want to interact with people, you’ll learn their stories, but you can just simply exist on a bench with a cup of tea if that’s what you want. This game is about healing and that looks different for everyone.
CraftCraft: Fantasy Merchant Simulator
Listen, you can play as a moth person in this game. I don’t think I really have to go on, but I will. You get to live out your trash gremlin dreams by crafting together random junk items into something new and profitable. The wheel of creativity is in your hands and you do it all with your loyal owlcat beside you. Also, did I mention you can romance characters?
Have you ever wanted to play as a cowboy working farmland? That’s a dream we all have, right? Well, in this game you can explore multiple biomes, till the land, fish, play the accordion, help the locals, and help mystical creatures from Latin folklore. You do it all with your trusty horse and dog by your side, and you get to customize the way they look!
While this isn’t a new game, it’s finally breaking free of being an Apple-specific title. You’ll finally get the chance to build the island of your dreams with Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. Coming to PCs and consoles on January 30th, you’ll get to (insert inhale here) discover new regions, bake, craft, befriend Sanrio characters, catch critters, decorate yourself and your home, solve puzzles, garden, and so much more. And, you get to do it with your friends!
