Pokémon TCG Pocket has announced the newest set coming out and it’s here far sooner than we could have anticipated! Shining Revelry packs will be available to players on March 27, 2025. Like Triumphant Light, it appears that it will be a single pack, but it includes something that no other packs have yet – shiny Pokémon! It will have 110 new cards to collect that include new Pokémon ex, trainers, and immersive cards.
Among the shiny Pokémon available in Shining Revelry, we can confirm that Charizard ex, Lucario ex, Beedrill, Wiglett, Varoom, Wugtrio, and Pachirisu will be included in their shiny colors!
Shining Revelry will, also, introduce trainers and Pokémon from Gen 9 – Scarlet and Violet. So, you’ll get some modern cards mixed in. We know that we’ll see some normal Pokémon and starters! Tatsugiri and Sprigatito have been confirmed, so it’s likely that we’ll see Feucoco and Quaxly as well. They’re not confirmed, but it’d be an odd choice to exclude them. And, among the Gen 9 trainers, only Iono is confirmed.
Shining Revelry isn’t the only thing coming!
We’ll see new ex Starter Deck Missions as well that will bring us the following decks:
- Tinkaton ex
- Charizard ex
- Giratina ex
- Pikachu ex
- Wugtrio ex
- Lucario ex
- Paldean Clodsire ex
- Beedrill ex
- Bibarel ex
These missions will be available from March 28th until April 27th and run in conjunction with ranked matches where you can battle players of similar skill levels to earn emblems for your profile. Personally, I’m unsure why the trailer put this time frame on the decks. As far as I’m aware, the decks have never been unavailable afterward, but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on.
Starting April 1st, you’ll be able to earn new display boards and binders featuring Shiny Charizard! This will likely include playmats, card sleeves, coins, and an icon like usual. However, that hasn’t been confirmed beyond the boards and binders.
I’m stoked about getting to collect shinies at this point and I’m fairly pleased that we get to see a wider blend of Pokémon with the addition of some cards from the newest generation.
Now is the perfect time to start collecting your pack hourglasses and stockpiling them in preparation for Shining Revelry if you haven’t been hoarding them already! And, while you’re at it, you can check out the roundup we did of Pokémon Day 2025.
