Whether you’re like me and missing Halloween or you’re — equally, like me — just living that witchy life, you may be looking for the next magic-filled game! So, here are a few witchy games to help scratch that magical itch!
Personally, I’m always in the market for a game that is even remotely witchy. So, it’s a bit surprising that when I went looking for witchy games, I discovered that I didn’t have that many to recommend from my own library. So, that’s why there is only one from this list that we’ve reviewed.
The last two are ones that I’ve seen and that I covet. Both of them have fantastic reviews, so I’m confident in pointing you in their direction!
Witchy games to coven down with

Wylde Flowers
Wylde Flowers follows the story of Tara, a young woman who returns to the island of Fairhaven to help her ailing grandma. You’ll be able to befriend and romance some townsfolk, fish, cook, garden, and mine as you build up Grandma’s farm. Buzzing underneath the quaint little life is a mystery waiting to be solved. I’ve linked our review, but I want to preface that when I played, there really wasn’t much customization to Tara and I wrote a whole bit about that. However, you have the freedom to change her up in one of the previous updates to the game, so disregard my past writings on that front. – Our Review
Strange Horticulture
Strange Horticulture has a few different endings, so there’s some wiggle room of replay value here. In it, you play the owner of the local plant store in Undermere. You’ll get the chance to explore lands in search of new ingredients, grow interesting plants and identify their uses, chat with the locals, and join a coven — or a cult if you’re feeling especially quirky. You’ll learn more about the mysteries of the town as you solve puzzles.

Little Witch in the Woods
Little Witch in the Woods is an adorable little pixel art-style game about Ellie, an apprentice witch. You’ll follow Ellie as she helps the locals and explores the mystical forest in order to become a formal witch. Explore the area to find ingredients and use those to make potions. You’ll be able to befriend the villagers, meet a few cats, and even spend a relaxing time fishing. It’s in Early Access, so it’s getting better all the time.
