By this point, our Cozy Game Review Roundup should be expected and we’re not about to disappoint this month. We dipped our hands into a few new things and hopefully we’ll continue to be able to offer varied content in these roundups.
Unfortunately, this month wasn’t great for us on a mental health level, but we’re still proud of the things that we were able to accomplish.
We’d be interested to know what your thoughts are on these games if you’ve played them or to know which you’ve had on your wishlist!
Cozy Game Reviews
If you’re a Hidden Object fan, Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic is definitely worth picking up. It’s a great option if you want something that goes your own pace. With hints, you rarely get stumped and with the addition of uploadable content, you have something to play well after the campaign maps are conquered.

Cat Cafe Manager is a great choice for people that love time management games. It’s got cute art and the system it’s built on works fairly well. There’s nothing exciting about how the game plays, but it’s a tried and true formula that is nostalgic and cozy.

Freaky Trip offers hand-drawn visuals and an adorable aesthetic in a high-difficulty puzzle game that might leave you scratching your head more often than you want.

Slay the Princess is a game that I fully recommend. The voice acting, music, art, and story all blend together in a way that works so well.

Please, Touch the Artwork 2 is a love letter in game form to a brilliant artist. The game is free and you have nothing to lose in enjoying this title.

The Forever Labyrinth looks like a hand-drawn, monotone style, which is fitting for the theming of the game as a whole. It brings a unique, simple charm to it

Accessory Review
With GUNNAR’s tokidoki Year of the Dragon glasses, you’re going to look hot, feel hot, and forget that you’re so fire while you wear them through gaming or your work day with reduced eye strain.

Ultimately, I don’t think it will be a game that I get, but I can see how Southfield would be an incredible experience, especially with friends. Just be aware that if you have an older computer, this will need to be dropped to the lowest graphics setting.

This section is meant to encapsulate the games we got codes for and tried, but didn’t feel we could offer a review of for various reasons. Thankfully, there’s only one game from last month.
Raccoo Venture: This game reminds me pretty heavily of the Spyro/Crash Bandicoot era of gaming. It’s more of a top-down view with a forced camera perspective that can be a little annoying when you’re trying to see certain things. That, however, is by design since there are usually collectibles hiding in those areas that the camera refuses to show.
In truth, there wasn’t anything wrong with Raccoo Venture, it’s probably a really fun game for someone that doesn’t mind platforming challenges, but it certainly wasn’t cozy. By the second time I’d fallen in the same place, losing money that surely was connected to my life, I could feel my blood boiling.
So, honestly, it seemed like a good game that you should absolutely check out if you’re into that sort of genre, but for me, I didn’t think I could judge it fairly from a cozy perspective just because I wasn’t really having a cozy time. Normally, our cozy scores don’t influence the final score, but the frustration level I was feeling would have.
It’s a cute game and when my brain allows for a more challenging game, I may go back to it.
